UK Chancellor George Osborne has announced that a second £60 million Graphene Centre will be built at the University of Manchester. The Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre will focus on the fast-tracking of products. Cleantech company Masdar,based in Abu Dhabi, is providing half the funding for the centre.
