The Swedish Chemical Agency – KEMI has been mandated to develop a draft proposal for a national nanomaterials products register by the Swedish Ministry of the Environment. National nanomaterials registers have already been established in France and Denmark. Belgium’s will come into effect in late 2015.
As with registers set up in the aforementioned countries, companies would be obliged to provide information regarding the presence of nanomaterials in their products.
