New nanomaterial for transistors

0

Who: University of Liverpool, UK.

What: A new material, ‘triazine-based graphitic carbon nitride’, or TGCN, which has the potential to improve transistors used in electronic devices. The material is related to graphene but it has an electronic band gap, making it potentially suitable for use in transistors. See “Triazine-Based, Graphitic Carbon Nitride: a Two-Dimensional Semiconductor

Where: Transistors in semiconductors manufacturing.

When: The material is at an early stage of development.
