Samsung to unveil curved Quantum Dot monitors

Just this year, Samsung unveiled and released two other Quantum Dot curved monitors – the CFG70 and CF791, which were showcased at IFA 2016 in September and released in the USA this month.

The upcoming CES 2017 which will be held from January 5 to January 8 at the Las Vegas Conventional Center will see a whole lot of new gadgets rolled out by the tech giants in the industry. “This year’s line-up of curved Quantum Dot monitors offers brilliant design, richer color and deeper contrast than ever before”. The quantum dot curved monitors will have two variants. The CH711 will come in two sizes, 27 and 31.5 inches, and offer incredibly accurate color reproduction with 125 percent sRGB color coverage and WQHD (2,560 x 1,440) resolution. It’s sleek design is said to complement any decor that consumers have.

There is no availability or expected price for these gaming monitors but Samsung will reveal more details at CES 2017. Power and HDMI cables from the monitor are hidden within its neck, giving the configuration a clean look.

The 28-inch UH750 monitor combines Samsung’s gamer-friendly features with an ultrafast 1 m/s response time, Quantum Dot picture display and high-quality UHD resolution, all housed within a slim, narrow-bezel design.

The company will be utilizing the same quantum dot technology that it has used for its TVs.
